Aldax is a potassium sparing diuretic ( mineralocorticoid receptor antagonist ). It acts as a potassium – sparing diuretic and an antihypertensive by increasing the amount of sodium and water excretion in the urine without the loss of potassium.
Aldax is for the management of hypertension and heart failure. It can also reduce swelling related to heart (CHF), kidney (nephrotic syndrome) or liver disease accompanied by edema ( cirrhosis and/or ascites)
