Indication
Adjunct in the treatment of Partial seizures with or without secondary Generalizations, myoclonic seizures & Primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures.
Dosage
Partial Onset Seizures: Adults 16 years & older, initial daily dose of 1000mg/day given as twice-daily dosing (500mg Twice Daily). Myoclonic Seizures in patients 12 years & older: A dose of 1000mg/day, given as twice daily dosing. Increase by 1000mg/day every 2 weeks to the recommended daily dose of 3000mg. Tonic-Clonic Seizures: Adult 16 year & older, a dose of 1000mg/day given as Twice daily dosing. (500mg twice daily)
